Services are available in Belmont, CA and surrounding communities on the San Mateo Peninsula. We reserve the right to decline any job at our discretion.
All estimates are provided free of charge and are based on an on-site assessment of the work to be performed. Estimates are not binding quotes until confirmed in writing by both parties. Final pricing may differ from an initial estimate if:
We will notify you of any change in scope or price before proceeding with additional work. Verbal estimates are non-binding. Only written, signed estimates constitute a binding agreement.
Jobs are scheduled by mutual agreement. We make every effort to arrive within the agreed window. Delays due to weather, equipment issues, or prior job overruns may occur; we will contact you as soon as practicable if a delay is anticipated.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice after a crew has been dispatched may be subject to a trip charge to cover mobilization costs. We reserve the right to reschedule jobs due to unsafe weather conditions without penalty.
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the start of the job. We accept cash, check, and common digital payment methods. For larger commercial jobs, a deposit may be required prior to scheduling.
Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. We reserve the right to pursue collection of unpaid balances through legal means, and the customer agrees to pay reasonable attorney fees incurred in that process.
To ensure safe and efficient service, customers are responsible for:
Certain tree removal and land clearing work requires permits from local authorities. We will advise you if we believe a permit is required for your job. Unless we have expressly agreed in writing to obtain permits on your behalf, obtaining required permits is the customer's responsibility. Work performed without a required permit at the customer's direction is done at the customer's risk.
We carry general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage as required by law. In the event of damage caused by our negligence, our liability is limited to the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged property, not to exceed the total amount paid for the services related to the incident.
We are not liable for damage resulting from: pre-existing conditions in the tree, soil, or property; underground utilities or obstructions not disclosed to us prior to the job; acts of nature occurring during or after the work; or customer-directed decisions made against our written recommendation.
Our services are provided "as is" based on observable site conditions at the time of the estimate and the job. We do not warrant that any tree service work will prevent future tree failure, disease, storm damage, or other natural events. We stand behind our workmanship - if you believe work was performed incorrectly, contact us within 7 days of completion and we will assess the concern and respond in good faith.
